In the neighborhood

Bardole travels – March 24 the Jason Bardole family from Wauwatosa, WI, visited the parental Roy Bardole home on their way to Colorado for spring break.  What was supposed to be a day riding the go-cart and motorcycle riding, turned into a house filled with family and rain outside! They had fun anyway.

Tim, Lori and Cassie from Rippey arrived. Schyler, Lauren, Adam and Luke came from Churdan. Quill Bardole sent his regrets since he was ill. Pete, Yvette and family were on vacation in St Louis. Pizza was enjoyed.

Saturday morning, the 26th, Jason, Allison, Levi, Kate and Chase headed to Colorado.  They spent two nights in Boulder before going to Keystone to ski.  The morning they were to ski in Keystone, Kate woke up with a fever. A trip to the doctor and medicine made it so she could ski the next afternoon.

They are a skiing family, so it was fun. The morning they left Keystone they went snowmobiling. That was fun for all of them. They headed back towards Iowa, staying in Hastings, NE, that night. They arrived at the Bardole house around noon. After lunch the rest of the family arrived. Tim, Lori, and Cassie from Rippey, Pete, Yvette, Arthur, Avery, and Aden stopped by in the afternoon before heading to the Civic Center for a show. Schyler, Lauren, Adam and Luke were here, and Quill was well, so he came, too.

The afternoon was spent riding the go-cart and motorcycle and building a fort in the hay. They also enjoyed a new calf born last week.

It was very cold out, but they dressed for it! Some family members who were cold stayed inside to visit!  The day ended with pizza again. Jason’s family left Sunday morning to go home.
